We've shipped the Device Library - a growing system library of pre-configured devices, ready to import into any harness with a single click. No setup. No re-entering connector data. Just pick and go.
Re-creating the same devices - ECUs, PDMs, sensors - for each new project is one of the most time-consuming parts of harness design. The Device Library removes that overhead.
The system library comes pre-configured with devices from the most common platforms. Find the device you need, click import, and it lands in your harness with all connectors and cavity descriptions already filled in.
Motorsport and custom performance builds often reuse the same ECU platform across multiple projects. Once a device is in the library - whether from the pre-configured system library or one you've added yourself - the connector mapping and cavity descriptions carry over to every harness you build.
Auto-generated cavity descriptions for device-to-device connections mean EZ Wire will automatically generate labels like "An Volt 1 – TPS Signal" when two devices are connected, keeping your documentation clean without extra effort.
The system library already includes devices from Link ECU, Haltech, MoTeC, MaxxECU, ECUMaster, Emtron, and more. ECUs, PDMs, and sensors across the platforms you actually use - configured and waiting. You can also add your own devices to build a library that's specific to how you work.
Any system device can be copied into your own library and customised from there. If a manufacturer labels a pin "Aux Output 1" and your team calls it "AUX 1", create a copy and rename it. The original system device stays untouched, so the pre-configured baseline is always there to reference.
The Device Library is available on all EZ Wire plans. Sign up and start importing devices into your harnesses today.
