I'm Stephen, founder of EP Wiring Limited
I've been a web developer since 2014 and building wiring harnesses since 2016.
I founded EP Wiring Limited in 2022.
Why I Built EZ Wire
I started developing EZ Wire in early 2023, then semi-abandoned it when we got too busy with actual harness work.
In 2024, we bought a Komax Gamma 311 cut/strip/terminate machine. We needed automated cut lists badly. We tried every major software option - all too expensive, slow or overly complicated. We didn't want to pay for bloat we'd never use. We wanted something simple, fast and easy to use.
So I built what I needed. We launched it in-house in May 2025 and used it for every harness we built. Every pain point in the software became a new feature. EZ Wire has come a long way since then.

During the EZ Wire beta, I surveyed 89 professional, semi-professional and hobbyist harness builders:
